ESI: Fire Safety will become a member of the Fire Protection Association on 29 August 2026. The Fire Protection Association, commonly known as the FPA, was established in 1946 with strong support from the insurance industry. It has developed into a national organisation providing fire safety training, technical guidance, consultancy, testing, research, publications and professional membership.

Fire safety legislation, British Standards, construction methods and technology continue to change. The continuing role of the Fire Protection Association
