At ESI: Fire Safety, we take the quality, safety and professionalism of our training seriously.

Whether you are attending one of our online fire safety awareness courses, an in-person fire warden course, or practical fire extinguisher training, we want you to know what to expect from us, how we support learners, and how we manage our training provision.

This page brings together our key training policies, learner documents and quality procedures.

These documents explain how we deliver our courses, protect learners, handle personal information, review course content and respond to feedback, complaints or appeals.

Our aim is to make fire safety training clear, practical and relevant to the real world.

We do not believe in box-ticking for the sake of it.

Good training should help people understand their responsibilities, recognise fire risks, take sensible action and know what to do in an emergency.

Why these documents matter

Fire safety training is not just about attending a course and receiving a certificate.

For employers and responsible persons, training should form part of a wider fire safety management system.

That means keeping suitable records, making sure staff understand their role, reviewing training needs, acting on feedback and ensuring courses are appropriate for the risks within the premises.

These documents help support that process by showing how ESI: Fire Safety manages:

Online and in-person course delivery

ESI: Fire Safety provides both online and in-person fire safety training.

Online training may be suitable for general fire safety awareness, refresher learning or staff who need a flexible way to complete essential training.

In-person training is particularly useful where the course needs to reflect the specific risks of your premises, your fire procedures, your evacuation arrangements, or practical extinguisher use.

For higher-risk workplaces, practical environments, workshops, commercial kitchens, industrial premises, care settings, schools, HMOs, blocks of flats and multi-occupied buildings, we can tailor training so it reflects the real fire risks people may face.

Bespoke fire safety training

We can also provide bespoke workplace fire safety courses based on your fire risk assessment, your fire procedures and the hazards present in your premises.

This may include training around:

Need help choosing the right course?

If you are unsure which fire safety course is right for your organisation, we can help you choose a suitable option based on your premises, staff numbers, risk profile and existing fire safety arrangements.
